Academic Achievements

• I have various publications as first author in best journals of medical fields like NEJM, JAMA pediatrics , Pediatrics, NDT etc. My article as first author in NEJM “Ofatumumab for Rituximab-Resistant Nephrotic Syndrome” has opened a new dimension and hope in managing these difficult children as there was no treatment for them previously and at present many centers all over world are using the drug with protocol as developed by me.
• Selected as ERA-EDTA (European renal association-European dialysis transplant association) (YNP) board of advisor.
• I have already completed three randomized controlled trial and two trials are ongoing. Recently completed and published a RCT with collaboration of Heidelberg, Germany in JAMA pediatrics.

Administrative & Clinical Achievements

• First in World: Pioneer in the world to start use of Ofatumumab in Nephrotic syndrome.
• First in India: We started use of Dedicated latest pediatric haemodialysis (Fresenius 5008 with Paediatric software) machine.
• First in Eastern India: We started use of Automated Peritoneal Dialysis in newborns.
• To translate the results of the projects from, bench to bedside, I have proposed, planned and established the 1st Pediatric Nephrology Centre in Eastern India of Govt Sector, at NRS Medical College, Kolkata. My center caters not only this part of our country but also the neighboring countries of Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.
